Certification Path Courses continued
GMAW (Mig) Welding $2750 Includes 4 hour Safety Orientation
This is a 64 hour class
You will get to use the GMAW process with the goal of passing one of the Code Certifications. GMAW is the most common process used in Sheet Metal, Fab Shops and Automotive Repair. This is probably the most versatile process with applications for carbon steels, stainless steels, aluminum, and even some exotic materials.

GTAW (Tig) Welding $3500 Includes 4 hour Safety Orientation
This is an 80 hour class
You will get to use the GTAW process with the goal of passing one of the Code Certifications.
GTAW is used in almost every industry. It is the premier skill for a welder to have. It is used in Energy Piping, Automotive, Sheet Metal, Custom Fabrication of every kind. It has applications for carbon steels, stainless steels, aluminum and just about every weldable exotic material in existence. This is also the process requiring the most skill and experience.

Each student in a Certification Path Class will have the opportunity to perform 1 test on the last 8 hour session and have it evaluated for certification. Students can opt for more than 1 at additional expense.
