WELDING 101 – INTRODUCTION TO MIG WELDING

This 8 hour course covers the basics of MIG welding. The course includes workshop discussion that covers safety, the equipment and the principals of MIG welding. Whether your interest are personal projects or honing your skills. Flux core and solid wire.   Cost of 8 hour class: $ 325.00

 

WELDING 102 – INTRODUCTION TO STICK WELDING

This 8 hour course, stick welding offers a whole new range of options for projects and skills. Whether your interest are personal projects or your honing skills .   5P & 5p Plus           Cost of 8 hour class: $ 395.00

WELDING 103 – INTRODUCTION TO TIG WELDING (SS only)

This course is designed for the student who has experience with the basics either for personal projects or employment and is interested in furthering his or her skills. The course is focused completely on the art of TIG welding. The student will be trained in the basic concept of TIG welding with steel and stainless steel. This is an intensive 8 hour course that will give you the advanced skills and confidence to continue working with metal in your area of interest.                         Cost of 8 hour class: $395.00

WELDING 201 – ADVANCED MIG WELDING

This 16-hour advanced class includes additional training in MIG welding including aluminum welding with spool gun, and stainless steel.   4043 – Vertical and Overhead 6061 plate     Cost of 16 hour class:   $ 895

 

WELDING 202 – ADVANCED STICK WELDING

This 16 hour advanced class includes additional training in flat, vertical and horizontal welding and the basics for welding pipe.        Cost of 16 hour class $ 1195                                                                                   Cost for a 24 hour class $ 1550.00

WELDING 203 – ADVANCED TIG WELDING

Aluminum TIG welding. Aluminum is light, strong and extremely versatile. This course is for the individual who has a solid set of skills in other areas of welding and wants to take it to a whole new level. Weld 1/16” 4043, 1/8 – 3/16 – ¼” Box       . Cost of 8 hour class: $495

 

WELDING 204 – ADVANCED TIG WELDING

Aluminum TIG welding. Aluminum is light, strong and extremely versatile. This course is for the individual who has a solid set of skills in other areas of welding and wants to take it to a whole new level. Weld 1/16” 4043, 1/8 – 3/16 – ¼” Box  .Cost of 16 hour class: $ 895 .                  Cost of the 40 hours class is $ 3400

Fundamentals of Welding 40 Hours $ 1900

DESCRIPTION: This course is designed to provide necessary knowledge and skills for an entry-level welder. Oxy-Fuel, Gas Tungsten Arc (TIG), Gas Metal Arc (MIG) and Shielded Metal Arc (Stick) processes are taught with theory and hands on practice

 

INTERMEDIATE GAS TUNGSTEN ARC WELDING (40 hours) $ 2450

DESCRIPTION: This course is designed to advance the student’s skills in the Gas Tungsten Arc (TIG) process. Emphasis will be placed on the student’s ability to prepare material and perform welding of flat, horizontal and vertical fillet welds and flat groove welds in carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum.

INTERMEDIATE SHIELDED METAL ARC WELDING (40 hours) $ 2450

DESCRIPTION: This course is designed to advance the student’s skills in the Shielded Metal Arc (Stick) process. Emphasis will be placed on the student’s ability to prepare material and perform welding of fillet and groove welds in carbon steel using E6010 and E7018 electrodes in all positions. Practice is geared towards Structural Welding Code vertical and overhead tests.

INTERMEDIATE GAS METAL ARC WELDING (40 hours) $ 2400.00

DESCRIPTION: This course is designed to advance the student’s skills in the Gas Metal Arc (MIG) process. Emphasis will be placed on the student’s ability to prepare material and perform welding of fillet and groove welds in carbon steel in all positions. Practice is geared towards Structural Welding vertical and overhead.

ADVANCED GAS TUNGSTEN ARC WELDING – PIPE (40 hours) $2800

DESCRIPTION: This class will further advance the students welding skills to pipe. The student will learn the techniques required of a certified pipe welder. Proper tacks and feather edging, filler metal angles and manipulations for open root pipe welding are taught. Class will consist of welding on carbon steel pipe with the GTAW process. Training will be with ER70S carbon steel solid wire with upward progression. Practice is geared toward certification .

ADVANCED GAS METAL ARC WELDING – PIPE (40 hours) $3000

DESCRIPTION: This class will further advance the students welding skills to pipe. The student will learn the techniques required of a certified pipe welder. Proper tacks and feather edging, filler metal angles and manipulations for open root pipe welding are taught. Class will consist of welding on carbon steel pipe with the GMAW-SC and FCAW processes. Training will be with ER70S solid wire short circuit transfer GMAW down bead root with E71T-1 flux cored wire hot and fill passes, upward progression. Practice is geared toward certification .

ADVANCED SHIELDED METAL ARC WELDING- PIPE (40 hours) $ 3050

DESCRIPTION: This class will further advance the students welding skills to pipe. The student will learn the techniques required of a certified pipe welder. Proper tacks and feather edging, filler metal angles and manipulations for open root pipe welding are taught. Emphasis will be placed on E6010 root and hot pass with E7018 low hydrogen fill and cap. Practice is geared toward certification.

In order to take the Advanced classes , you must have taken the Intermediate Class or the Beginners Classes.

Each student must outfit themselves in work boots, jeans or heavy work pants and long sleeve flame retardant shirt. They must also bring safety glasses and their own welding gear. (Helmet, gloves, jacket, chipping hammer, wire brush and pliers)

In all workshops safety glasses, boots, long sleeves, gloves, helmet, and long pants required. Gloves, safety glasses, jackets and helmets can be purchased at the class for an additional charge. No pants with worn cuffs allowed. No shorts or tee-shirts. Cell phones must be left in the car, as TIG welders can damage pagers and cell phones, camera cards, pacemakers etc. Proof of Insurance must be provided at registration
